The relay is having a bad day. And it comes back online.
But /var/log/exim4/mainlog is spitting out:
"Exim error – retry time not reached for any host"
Okay.
# cd /var/spool/exim4/db
# rm -f retry retry.lockfile
# rm -f wait-remote_smtp wait-remote_smtp.lockfile
# service exim restart
